After breakfast, head on over to Crystal Bridges Museum of Art, a world class museum in Bentonville, AR. Founded by Alice Walton, the only daughter of Sam Walton the founder of Walmart. It was her dream to establish a world-class museum in her home town located in the center of the country. It houses a permanent collection of American masterworks from the colonial era to modern day, and also touring collections from national art institutions.
General admission to Crystal Bridges is sponsored by Walmart. There is no cost to view the Museum’s permanent collection, which is on view year around. Special exhibitions do require a fee.

Hours – Museum is closed on Tuesdays. Open from 10AM – 6PM Sat & Sun, from 11AM – 6PM Mondays, and from 11AM – 9PM Wed – Fri.

Plan Your Visit – If there is a special exhibition you would like to see, check the calendar for upcoming events, and purchase your tickets ahead of time. You may also purchase them at the museum’s front desk, but there’s no guarantee the exhibit won’t be sold out. Hours do vary, and the museum is closed on Tuesdays.
Special Exhibitions – The museum sponsors a wide variety of touring collections throughout the year. Collections like Chihuly Glass are very popular.
Restaurant – Eleven at Crystal Bridges is the beautiful onsite restaurant. It is situated within the museum just beyond the entrance. It serves a wide selection of local sustainable grub, and also offers scheduled fine dining experiences. With a sweeping wooden roof with huge windows, the view from the restaurant is stunning.
Events – The museum also sponsors special events like the North Forest Lights. Featuring a expansive display of lights and soundscapes, people come from miles around to experience the event.
Crystal Bridges Trails
The trails and grounds of Crystal Bridges are appointed with sculpture and other art forms at every turn. Take time to walk these trails to see these magnificent artistic creations.
For dinner try Table Mesa Bistro, a boutique style restaurant featuring multicultural offerings that make good use of delicious seasonal ingredients. Locals love to gather at Table Mesa and the staff is ultra-friendly.
In the evening, make it a point to go up to the Tower Bar at The Momentary, a satellite museum to Crystal Bridges. From the Tower Bar, you’ll have an excellent view of the city.
