Razorback Regional Greenway –This 36-mile pedestrian and biking greenway, still under construction, with 30 miles already completed,  connects six major NWA cities, employer headquarters, 3 major hospitals, U of A campus, entertainment venues, parks, shopping areas, schools and historic sites.  The greenway is scheduled to be completed in winter 2014.

Buffalo River – Ozark Mountains Hiking, Biking And Camping  on the popular nearby Buffalo River is always fun.You don’t have to be a local to discover that the picturesque Ozark Mountains are the perfect place to enjoy wonderful outdoor activities like hiking, biking and camping. In fact, if you are the outdoors type, you might skip lodging in the city, and camp in the glorious Ozark Mountains instead!

Bikes, Blues and BBQ – Approximately 400,000 people attend the yearly Bikes, Blues and BBQ held in September of each year. This exciting event includes free music, a huge BBQ contest and numerous motorcycle competitions.  The huge influx of people for the event  creates a shortage of lodging, so make certain you book your accommodations and campsites early.

Calling The Hogs – If you are in town for one of the University of Arkansas’ famous Razorback basketball or football, don’t miss the faithful fans “Calling The Hogs.” It is  an awesome experience you won’t soon forget.  What is it?  It is one of the most unique and favorite activities of residents and fans.  When the fans call the hogs, it’s an emotional experience and enough to cause goosebumps all over your body. You might call it the most famous athletic cheer in the nation.
