As is typical in the Ozark Mountains this time of year, cool mornings and evenings and pleasantly warm afternoons characterize the climate, signaling the beginning of fall and the color parade in the Ozarks.

Just in time for Halloween, public pumpkin patches abound this year.  They have nice bright orange colored pumpkins for your front porches and jack-o-lanterns.  Pumpkin carving is a tradition in many families already, and many more families will join this fun-filled tradition this year.

Corn mazes, haunted houses, ghost tours and hay rides are scattered throughout Northwest Arkansas and the edge of Missouri.  These are terrific places to enjoy the fun activities associated with Halloween and the fall season.  Check the list below, and make your plans early to attend one or a few of these:
