Dave and Jenny Marrs have become synonymous with Northwest Arkansas thanks to their HGTV series Fixer to Fabulous, filmed in and around Bentonville. The show highlights their design sensibility, craftsmanship, and commitment to restoring historic properties — and those qualities have earned them a national audience.

As the series took off, so did the couple’s following. Fans began traveling from across the country to see locations connected to the show, from the restored homes around Bentonville to the original Marrs Mercantile in Centerton. What began as a neighborhood shop quickly became a destination for visitors who wanted to step into the world they recognized on television.

Many describe Marrs Mercantile as the place where the Marrs’ design aesthetic feels most accessible. The shelves reflect Jenny’s style — warm textures, nostalgic details, natural materials, and handcrafted pieces. It’s one of the few HGTV-related destinations where fans can actually walk in, browse, and take home something that mirrors what they’ve seen on screen.

That organic demand paved the way for a second location. As downtown Bentonville continued expanding with new hotels, restaurants, parks, and cultural spaces, the Marrs saw an opportunity to bring their brand directly into the heart of the city. The result is Marrs on Main, located at 111 S Main Street, directly across from the newly opened Compton Hotel.

A New Downtown Bentonville

Marrs on Main sits in one of the most walkable and visited parts of Bentonville. The shop is surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, event spaces, and trail access — all contributing to the steady flow of foot traffic passing by each day. Its position across from The Compton makes it a natural stop for hotel guests exploring the Square.

Inside, the space follows the Marrs philosophy: quality over quantity, meaningful pieces over trend-driven merchandise. It’s a curated blend of home goods, textiles, pottery, art prints, books, pantry items, jewelry, and small-batch products sourced from makers in Arkansas and beyond.

Every section is styled as a mini vignette. Shelves are layered with ceramics and candles. Tables are arranged with blankets, cutting boards, and seasonal décor. Nearby, you might see coffee table books stacked beside hand-thrown mugs or artisan pantry goods.

The layout is open and easy to move through, with styled displays arranged throughout the store.

A Design Experience Rooted in Craftsmanship

Jenny Marrs’ design background shows throughout the store. Every piece is intentional, and nothing feels mass-produced. Visitors will find items that match her signature palette: soft neutrals, natural fibers, warm woods, and hand-finished materials.

Furniture and lighting pieces reflect the Marrs’ broader design influence. Some fixtures come from custom makers; others are antiques sourced over time. The combination adds depth to the shop and reflects the “collected” look that fans associate with Fixer to Fabulous.

The Original Centerton Mercantile

Understanding the new downtown shop is easier when you consider where the brand started. The original Marrs Mercantile opened in a restored 1905 bank building in Centerton. That location quickly outgrew its small-town setting as Fixer to Fabulous viewers made it a must-visit stop.

A Natural Fit for Bentonville’s Growth

Downtown Bentonville has transformed into a nationally recognized district anchored by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Momentary, a growing network of trails, and new hotels like The Compton. The addition of Marrs on Main adds a design-forward retail experience that complements the area’s cultural momentum.

Cyclists, museum-goers, conference attendees, and weekend travelers now have a local shop that reflects the personality of the region — warm, handcrafted, and rooted in authenticity. It fits seamlessly into the walkable downtown experience.
